Daylight App launch rotherha

Daylight is a free, evidence based digital app treatment for anxiety and worry. It has been developed by Big Health who are the makers of “Sleepio” an app to treat insomnia. Daylight has been rolled out and used to benefit patients in Scotland for some time, and is now being provided to South Yorkshire.

FLU & COVID SEASON 2024

The flu vaccine helps protect against flu, which can be a serious or life-threatening illness. It's offered on the NHS every year in autumn or early winter to people at higher risk of getting seriously ill from flu.

Childhood Vaccinations

It's important that vaccines are given on time for the best protection, but if you or your child missed a vaccine, contact your GP to catch up. SPEAK TO YOUR GP SURGERY IF you think you or your child have missed any vaccinations you or your child have a vaccination appointment – but you've missed it or cannot attend Your GP surgery can book or rearrange an appointment. It's best to have vaccines on time, but you can still catch up on most vaccines if you miss them.

Missed Appointments

In the month of July 2024 66 appointments were missed at this practice This equates to 16 ½ hours wasted time. Please let your GP practice or clinic know if you no longer need your appointment so someone else can use it. We have introduced a new appointment reminder system which also allows patients to cancel their appointments and this seems to have had a positive impact on our did not attend rates. We thank our patients that are using this service.

Friends & Family Test August

Thank you to all our patients who have taken the time to complete our Friends & Family Test following their appointments over the past month.

Sexual Health Drop In

The Place family and children’s centre sexual health drop in (no appointments needed). This is where service users and members of the public can access free STI and pregnancy testing, condoms etc.

Heatwave

BREAST SCREENING INVITES

We are currently inviting from age 50yrs to 70yrs and 11m Ladies will receive a letter of appointment to attend the Breast screening unit at Rotherham Hospital, for routine appointments.
